Back In Brisbane, My Second Home

So all the big updates are done and here I am back in Brizzie. I arrived Friday the 17th at 10am, made it through customs quickly and Kylie was there waiting for me. The rest of Friday is a little vague. All I know is that it was good to be with Kylie again.

While I was still in Mesa, Kylie had a found a church for us to get married in, as well someone to perform the ceremony. The church is Sandgate Baptist Church and it is a sought out location for weddings so it is amazing that we were able to book it on such a short notice. On the Sunday after arriving Kylie and I drove up to Sandgate and went to the church service at the church where we are to be wed. It was really nice to see the church and everyone at the church was quite friendly. We talked to the guy who is in charge of weddings there and confirmed everything, so we at least have a place to get married at and someone to do it. All of this has been an answer to prayer.

I got a chance to try on a suit this week for the wedding. We are going to have a reception back home where Kylie can wear her dress again and I hope to purchase the suit so that I can wear it as well. Yet another answer to prayer is that we were able to get the initial visa paperwork sent off this week. We hope to hear back from the consulate in a couple weeks approving the interview date we asked for. Our honeymoon and flights back home all hinge on this interview so we need prayer that we get the one we want. Lets see what else. We met with the caterer and figured out food for our reception here. Kylie also finalized the guest list of those she wants to invite. It is going to be a small wedding of about 60 or 70 people. We also signed the necessary paperwork for us to be married in Australia.

We need to start figuring out how and what of Kylie's things we are going to try and bring back. We are hoping and praying to find a cheap and easy way to get some of her personal belongings back. We are also hoping to get a little money to help us from selling some of her items.

There is still a lot to figure out and to do before we can make back to AZ. I am still trying find a nice place for the honeymoon, we need to find wedding bands, arrange flights back home, as well as many other things.
